Notification Inbox Improvements
We have reimagined the Notification Inbox on mobile as part of a broader notification revamp to improve usability and enhance how drivers and technicians engage with their daily tasks. The notification inbox will now provide clear direction and enhance users' workflows, allowing employees to focus on what's most important.
Here are the following new features/enhancements:
Unread Notifications Bolded:
Unread notifications are now bolded, allowing users to easily identify which notifications require immediate attention.
Recency-Based Categorization:
Notifications are organized by recency with section headers, enabling users to focus on the most urgent or important tasks.
Direct Links to Relevant Screens:
Each notification now includes a direct link to the respective screen, allowing users to take action seamlessly.
Improved Notification Configuration:
Easier access to notification settings will give users more control over their notification preferences.
Filter by Comments, Mentions, and Archives:
Users can filter notifications based on comments, mentions, and archived notifications. (Note: Full category filtering will be available in future versions.)
Comment Notifications with Previews:
Comment-based notifications now feature a preview of the comment content with an easy-to-use entry point to reply.
This overhaul turns the notification inbox into a more efficient and action-oriented experience, leading users to the next step.
