Detect and Address Maintenance Trends quickly with these Widgets

We've recently launched a range of maintenance categorization features to enable fleet managers to collect and analyze standardized maintenance data. Now, it's easier than ever to access quick, actionable insights from these features with Fleetio's four, new widgets that help you identify categorical maintenance trends across your fleet. The Category Codes by Usage, System Codes by Usage, and Reasons for Repair widgets offer a quick glance at the top three most used VMRS codes for each category, providing a way for users to investigate and take action through the Maintenance Categorization Summary report. Finally, the Uncategorized Service Tasks widget draws your attention to the top-used, uncategorized Service Tasks - allowing you to categorize those tasks with a couple of clicks.

Improved Duplicate Vendor Management

With this update, you can now merge duplicate vendors one set at a time. The existing "Merge All Duplicates" option is still available.

We also added Source and Destination labels to vendor records in sets to clearly show the record(s) that will remain after a merge. The Destination label shows the record that will be kept once a merge is complete.

Introducing Enhanced Service Task Categorization

At Fleetio, our goal is to provide fleet managers with the tools they need to effectively track and analyze their maintenance operations. With the latest update to Service Tasks, we’ve made categorizing and analyzing your maintenance data even easier. Now, you can assign a high-level category to all Service Tasks. This is in addition to the 3 levels of category granularity that already existed. Additionally, we’ve unlocked deeper insight and control of your data in the Service Task Summary Report and Service History by Vehicle Report by replacing the previous category/subcategory hierarchy with the new and improved Service Task Category Codes and System Codes. Track Purchase Orders in the Updated Parts Activity Report

The updated Parts Activity Report shows the Purchase Order associated with Work Order part line items. This additional data allows fleets to more efficiently analyze expenses by linking the parts purchase records with the service where those parts are used. Additionally, this data is exportable to other systems for reconciliation. Spend less time looking through Work Orders and find your parts spend, all in one place.

Trips added to the sensor data chart

We've added trips to the sensor data chart Recent Events section. Now, when Geotab or Samsara registers a vehicle trip, you can select it to highlight that timeframe on the sensor data chart.

Trips are a great starting place to understand what was happening while a vehicle was being operated. For instance, if a driver says the engine light came on while they were completing a delivery Tuesday afternoon, a technician or fleet manager can select the trip in Fleetio and start troubleshooting what was happening with the vehicle at that time.

Sensor data is available for Samsara, Geotab Pro, and Geotab Pro Plus customers. You can find the sensor data chart on the Telematics tab of the Vehicle Overview page.
