Automatically Add Service Programs to Assets ⚡

We've just launched Service Program Rules, making it easy to add every vehicle in your fleet, including your brand new ones, to a service program automatically.

With a Service Program Rule, you can set up and save a logic-based workflow that automatically assigns your vehicles to the right service programs based on various vehicle attributes, including custom fields.

By using Service Program Rules, you'll not only save a ton of admin time, but you'll also no longer need to remember to add programs to new vehicles, which will help improve your on-time PM completion.

This new feature is available on Advanced (Legacy), Enterprise (Legacy) and Premium accounts.

Introducing Fleetio’s Integrations Directory

Integrations is now on the sidebar menu of your Fleetio account. You can now learn about, install, and manage integrations that power your fleet operations all from one page.

By creating a central space within Fleetio for Integrations, we're reducing the number of clicks you need to launch and maintain integrations tied to your critical maintenance workflows and fleet costs.

Our new Integrations Directory will list all available Native Integrations that sync with Fleetio and will help you:

Discover New Integrations

Research, compare, and onboard new integrations across telematics and fuel providers using the new categories and featured filters.

Manage Existing Integrations

The “My Integrations” tab lists all of your active integrations in one place to quickly monitor performance and make helpful changes to your integration settings and workflows.

Improve Success of Integrations

Setup your integrations, access training documents, and connect with the Fleetio team directly inside the Integrations Directory to make sure you’re getting the most value from each Fleetio integration.

Only Account Owners and Administrators with the Manage Integrations permission can manage Integrations. To learn more about Integrations check out the following Help Center article.

New Tire Inspection Item, Bulk Rotations, Tire Imports, and More...

With our latest updates to Tire Management, keeping track of every tire installed across your fleet is now intuitive. We've added:

  • Tire Inspections: Add the Tire Readings Inspection item to automatically update asset records with axel configuration, tire position, tread depth, and pressure when inspections are submitted.
  • Bulk Rotations: Update vehicle tire positions with a single action using pre-saved rotation patterns, and create and save custom rotation configurations for fast use in the future
  • Tire Activity Report: Track key indicators of tire health, such as tread depth, air pressure, mileage, and age, to improve fuel efficiency, tire wear, and prevent blowouts.
  • Tire Imports: Use the new Tire import template to install, remove, or update your asset's tires (see below) and add new tire-related part attributes to tire records using the improved Part import template.

Organize, Save and Share Vendor Views

We've added Saved Views to the Vendors Index so you can personalize and save index configurations for future use.

Saved Views allow you to control how you organize and distribute your vendor data. You can now:

  1. Save Vendor Index configurations (filters, sorting, columns) as a Personal View for future use.
  2. Share views with team members to keep everyone on the same page.
  3. Add and arrange the Standard, Personal, and Shared View tabs most important to you.

Archived Filter Added

Alongside the new View functionality, we've changed the appearance of archived vendors in the index and added an Archived filter. This new filter lets you create a view that shows all active and archived vendors in one place.

Latest Improvements to Native Telematics Integrations

We’ve added the following updates to benefit mutual customers integrating Native Telematics devices with their Fleetio account:

Asset Types Added to Samsara DVIR Sync

We’ve expanded the list of asset types drivers and operators can log defects on using Samsara DVIRs integration workflow with Fleetio. Now mutual customers can automatically create and resolve issues in Fleetio based on a Samsara DVIR defect for the asset types below:

  • Samsara Reefers
  • Samsara Powered Equipments
  • Samsara Unpowered Assets

If the Push DVIR Defect Resolutions back to Samsara setting is enabled, Fleetio will resolve issues for Reefers, Powered Equipment, and Unpowered Assets in Samsara when they are resolved in Fleetio, thereby no longer showing as an open defect in both systems.

Learn more about our integration with Samsara and managing Issues from DVIRs in our Help Center.

New Geotab Locations Tracking Setting

We’re providing users with more control over what vehicle location data syncs in Fleetio based on daily Location Entries created from Geotab devices. This setting can be enabled or disabled from the Geotab integrations settings page and applies to the following vehicle location data:

  • Vehicle Location Details
  • Fuel Vendor Locations Alerts

Learn more about this new Locations setting and our integration with Geotab in the Help Center.

Adjustment to Nightly Meter Syncing

We’ve made a minor enhancement to when nightly meter entries are synced from Native Telematics into users accounts. This minor enhancement will import nightly meter entries from Native Telematics devices based on your accounts defined Regional Settings.
