Service Entries are now part of Automation, giving you the ability to act the moment work is logged, updated, or progresses through a repair order.

Instead of manually chasing updates, adjusting statuses, or notifying stakeholders, you can now build workflows that respond automatically to service activity.

What this unlocks:

• Automate from real service events – Trigger workflows when a service entry is created or updated using the same trigger types available across Automation.

• Build smarter conditions across records – Combine Service Entry data and connected asset details to drive more precise, contextual rules.

We’ve updated how fields are organized across Vehicles, Contacts, and Tools, making them easier to manage and customize to your organization.

What’s new:

1. Consolidated Control of Fields: Standard and custom fields now live together in one settings location called Field Management.
2. Redesigned Fields card: Includes expandable sections, layout-based field ordering, and search. The Financial and Specifications tabs have been removed, and their data now lives within the new layout.
3. Customizable layouts (Professional & Premium): Create sections and control how fields appear on record pages — or use the default layout.
4. Layout tailored by vehicle type (Premium only): Create multiple layouts for each asset type.
5. Finance field centralized: Purchase Detail custom fields are now organized under Vehicle Financial fields. 

This update gives you more flexibility while keeping record pages organized and easy to navigate.

This addition gives your fleet greater access to dealer-level service, reduces the need to go outside the network, and keeps maintenance activity centralized in Fleetio.

What services are available:

Mercedes-Benz dealerships offer a full range of maintenance and repair services, from preventive maintenance to advanced diagnostics and repairs.

 What this means for you:

If your fleet includes Nissan-branded vehicles, you can now service them directly at Nissan dealerships without going outside the Maintenance Shop Network. Repair orders can be created and processed just like any other in-network shop.

Why it matters:

This gives you more flexibility when choosing where to service your vehicles, reduces the need for manual workarounds, and keeps all maintenance activity visible in one place while still supporting all other makes and models in your fleet.

You can now create reminders for tools to stay on top of important activities that keep your inventory up to date and ready to use.

Set up custom reminder types in account settings, then apply them to individual tools or bulk-create them from the tool index. From there, you can use the Due Soon and Overdue views to quickly see what needs attention and plan work accordingly. Resolve reminders from the index or the reminder itself.

Reminder types are customizable, so you can create reminders for tasks such as annual/quarterly preventive maintenance checks, safety inspections, calibrations, and more.
