Custom Fields are now available on Vehicle Assignments! You can define your own date, checkbox, drop-down, or text fields to be filled out on each assignment, and you then you can filter and export those values on the Vehicle Assignment reports.

Reports are about to get a lot more powerful! We just added a custom column selector to the top-right of the Status Summary report. This tool will let you choose precisely which columns you want to see (or hide!) on the report. This is the first of many - every report will have this feature soon. DTC Alerts have been completely upgraded and rebranded as "Faults" in Fleetio! We added a Faults submenu on the vehicle profile, new features on the Faults list page, and a new Account Setting called Fault Rules. These rules allow you to tell Fleetio how to handle an incoming fault (ie "Critical" faults will receive special attention on index pages and dashboard panels).

The Default Tax 1 and Tax 2 values from your Account Settings will now pre-populate on new Purchase Orders!

Our inventory adjustment history just got smarter! Now if you remove a Part line item, edit it, or delete a Work Order altogether, we will store that change as a new inventory adjustment. That way, your on-hand inventory quantity of each part will stay in-sync with the quantity you save/store on the Work Order at any point, even as it fluctuates, and that entire history will be written to the part's "Activity" history.

We added a new email notification for Work Order assignments! When you assign a Work Order to a user, you will now see a “send email notification” option that will send them the Work Order details.

The Work Order interface is now more powerful and intuitive! You can build line items right from Service Reminders, see full Issue details, add general Parts and Labor, create new Parts with full detail, and much more. Recently Added: Geofence Alerts! Now you can set up an alert policy on a place. Contact can receive an email when a vehicle or driver is in or is out of a geofence. We've also enhanced places to show you the number vehicles and contacts that are at that place (last known location). On the dashboard, you'll find a nifty widget that will summarize that data for you as well.

Have you ever wondered have much time a vehicle has been out of service in the last week? Maybe in the last year? Well the new Vehicle Status Summary Report can answer that for you along with any other status you might be wondering about.

Have you ever wondered who made that change to a vehicle 3 months ago? Well, now you can answer that question. We've put a subtle indication at the bottom of each record in Fleetio where we now show who created the record, when they created it, who last updated it, and when they last updated it at. Clicking on that small line of text will show you the ENTIRE change history for that record. You can learn more about it in our help article.
