Clock-in to Work Orders with Fleetio Web

Technicians in Fleetio can now log labor hours by clocking into and out of work orders using the Fleetio Web app.

When a technician clocks in, a persistent clickable timer will remain visible in the lower left-hand corner of the page, allowing them to complete other actions within Fleetio.

Users must be individually logged into Fleetio to start their timer, and only one timer per user can be active at once.

Spot Conflicting Meter Entries At a Glance

This update adds more support for troubleshooting voided meter entries.

Accurate odometer values are a critical component for service schedules and cost calculations.

Now, when meter entries conflict or are automatically voided, the conflicting meter entry will be flagged.

This new functionality is available on the main Meter History index as well as the Meter History tab on the Vehicle Overview page.

Hovering over a conflicting or voided meter value will expose a pop-up that provides helpful information such as the conflict source and in certain cases, a quick link to un-void the entry.

Finally, we've also added two new columns, Auto-Void Reason and Void Status, to better identify conflicting meter entries at a glance. If you don't see these columns on either index, select the cog icon, then Manage Columns to add them.

For tips and walkthroughs on troubleshooting meter entries, check out this guide in the Help Center ->

iOS 13 Support Phased Out

Fleetio Go's minimum supported operating system has been updated to iOS 14. This update paves the way for improved functionality and performance across iOS devices.

We recommend that all devices currently using iOS 13 (or earlier) update their operating system to ≥ iOS 14 to continue accessing the latest supported version of Fleetio Go.

Using Go with an Unsupported iOS

Existing Go versions installed on unsupported iOS versions will continue to operate. However, if the app is removed, it will not be available for download until ≥ iOS 13 is installed.

Go versions installed on unsupported iOS versions will lose feature parity and functionality as future Go versions are released.

Devices Unable to Download Supported iOS

iOS users with devices unable to update to ≥ iOS 14 must upgrade to a supported device to download and use the latest supported Go version of Fleetio Go.

Merge Individual Contact Duplicates

With this update, you can now merge duplicate contacts one set at a time. The existing "Merge All Duplicates" option is still available.

We also added Source and Destination labels to contact records in sets to clearly show the record(s) that will remain after a merge. The Destination label shows the record that will be kept once a merge is complete.

Detect and Address Maintenance Trends quickly with these Widgets

We've recently launched a range of maintenance categorization features to enable fleet managers to collect and analyze standardized maintenance data. Now, it's easier than ever to access quick, actionable insights from these features with Fleetio's four, new widgets that help you identify categorical maintenance trends across your fleet. The Category Codes by Usage, System Codes by Usage, and Reasons for Repair widgets offer a quick glance at the top three most used VMRS codes for each category, providing a way for users to investigate and take action through the Maintenance Categorization Summary report. Finally, the Uncategorized Service Tasks widget draws your attention to the top-used, uncategorized Service Tasks - allowing you to categorize those tasks with a couple of clicks.
