Fleetio is now displaying real-time sensor data on the vehicle page for Geotab and Samsara integration customers.

This new capability unlocks the power to investigate what condition the vehicle was in at the exact moment a fault was triggered, or monitor driver safety by viewing seatbelt status or road speed (if available).

If sensor data is available in your account, you'll be able to add a new Telematics tab to your vehicle page. This is where you'll be able to select up to four sensor values at a time and view them in a variety of configurations.

Right now, sensor data is only available for Samsara, Geotab Pro, and Geotab Pro Plus integration customers. Telematics devices, vehicle year, and vehicle make can affect which sensor values are available in Fleetio. View the video above or read more in the Help Center for tips on using the new chart.

With this release, we also added sensor values as columns on the Vehicle list. These columns will show the last live data point, which is in real-time, so you can track fuel level, battery voltage, and more as your vehicles hit the road every day.

We've just launched the next round of enhancements to speed up and improve your data imports. The new three-step Import process streamlines Imports into one page and includes automation to simplify mapping and increase data accuracy.

With the enhanced Import workflow, you can now:

1. Confirm, ignore, and reset suggested mappings in bulk.
2. Only save the mappings you want to use again.
3. Delete previous data mappings.
4. See new and updated record counts before they're processed.

Other new features include delimiter auto-detection and a data completion indicator for each column.

Owners and Administrators can now require that Custom Fields be completed by Users whenever they edit or create a Record in Fleetio. This added functionality helps fleets ensure that their data records are complete and trustworthy.

Required Custom Fields can be managed in the Custom Fields section in Account Settings.

This year, we have released improvements allowing you to view, manage, and group Vehicle Watchers in the Vehicle List index and Notification Settings pages. 

As a part of these improvements, we have sunset the Watched Vehicles page to streamline the Vehicles module. Watch the video above to see the updated Watcher features and functionality.

Fleetio's new integration with Coast allows customers to automatically generate Fuel Entries in Fleetio, reducing the manual work necessary to track total cost of ownership. Coast is a fleet expense management solution that offers fleet cards that can be used at any gas station or truck stop where Visa is accepted. This new integration combines Coast's card controls and fuel data with the maintenance costs and expenses you're already tracking in Fleetio.

Coast is offering Fleetio customers a $500 sign-up credit when they open an account with qualifying fuel spend of $5,000 or more.

Our Parts by Vehicle Report has a new filter: you can now filter parts by their location for each vehicle. This is a great way to keep track of where the parts used for each vehicle came from. You can use the new filter in the Parts by Vehicle Report by selecting the "Part Location" filter from the list and choosing the location you want to filter by.

The new Dashboard experience lets you resize widgets to ensure all your data is visible. We've also added additional features to improve your Dashboard, including:

1. Reorganize Automatically Toggle: when "on," the Dashboard responsively fills white space when widgets are moved.
   
2. Compact Button: consolidates Dashboard widgets one time to remove whitespace.
3. Data Freshness Indicator: "Last Updated" status reveals the last time your dashboard data was refreshed.
4. New Hide Widget Option: each widget's interface now includes the option to hide the widget from the Dashboard.

We've launched a new experience to manage telematics devices for customers with native telematics integrations. Now available for owners, administrators, and users with permission to manage devices, this new page is accessible in the Vehicles drop-down menu.

Built to act like other lists in Fleetio, you can now:

• filter by integration (handy if you have multiple), vehicle, status, make, and more.
• select tabs to get to assigned, unassigned, and archived devices.
• bulk update device settings or archive devices.

In addition to these changes, we also moved the Refresh Devices button to the Integration cards in Account Settings.

Enable the new telematics email to help manage the devices in your integration. 

Fleetio's native integrations (integrations we build) automatically map devices to vehicles and assets, but it's not always a guaranteed process after the integration is up and running. If a technician switches out devices but forgets to make an update in Fleetio, you might not have the right data going to vehicles, skewing the information in reports.

With this new email, you don't have to go searching for information on how your integration is performing. Updates go directly to your inbox so you can catch misaligned devices early. Enable it in the Integrations section of your notification settings.
