New Shop Management Features In Fleetio

We're thrilled to announce Fleetio's latest comprehensive suite of shop management features, designed to drive efficiency and keep team costs on track. This update brings a blend of new functionalities and enhancements, improving maintenance processes, boosting oversight, and enhancing overall fleet operations.

Here are the four key features in this update: Tire Management, Warranty Management, Enhanced Service Tasks with Parts and Labor, and Sensor Data Snapshots

Track Installed Tires and Activity

Fleetio is excited to introduce our Tire Management capabilities. This feature provides a way to set vehicle axle configurations, track all currently installed tires, and record tread depth and pressure readings.

Additionally, we've added Tires as a new Parts record category along with new, tire-specific fields. Make informed decisions regarding tire replacements and rotations based on comprehensive data available in the new Tire Activity tab in vehicle profiles.

Improve the longevity and performance of your tires, maximizing your fleet’s efficiency.

* Available for Advanced, Enterprise, & Premium plans.

  • Track standard and extended vehicle warranties.
  • Alert mechanics to active warranty policies within work orders.
  • Add part and labor warranty credits to work orders.
  • View warranty credits in the Work Orders List report.

* Available for Advanced, Enterprise, & Premium plans.

Parts and Labor Hour Expectations for Service Tasks

We are introducing Enhanced Service Tasks with parts and labor, a time-saving feature designed to enhance your maintenance workflow. Here's what's new:

  1. Service Tasks now support account-defined sets of linked parts and expected labor hours. Create tailored kits that match your specific needs and streamline your maintenance processes.
  2. When using a Service Task with linked Parts on a Work Order, the linked Parts are automatically populated. Additionally, when logging labor entries against that Service Task, the expected labor hours are displayed for visibility.
  3. Expected labor hours are now accessible across various reports in Fleetio. Gain valuable insights into your labor resources, enabling better planning and resource allocation.

* Available for Advanced, Enterprise, & Premium plans.

Add Vehicle Sensor Data into Maintenance Workflows

Create snapshots of sensor data to add them to issues and vehicles. With this new update, you can use the sensor data chart to look at any available data points, such as battery voltage and engine speed, then create a snapshot with the information and attach it to either a new or existing issue.

All snapshots for a given vehicle will be stored under a new tab on the Vehicle Overview. You may need to customize your tab menu to see it. Once you have created a snapshot, it will remain in the Snapshots tab even after the viewable date on the sensor data chart has passed. That way, when viewing past issues for a vehicle to better understand any long-running problems, you’ll still have access to vehicle data that can help uncover insights.

* Available for Advanced, Enterprise, & Premium plans. You must have a Geotab or Samsara integration to access sensor data.
