Fleetio now supports VIN decoding for powersports vehicles (ATVs, motorcycles, and UTVs) and commercial light-duty vehicles manufactured in Canada, in addition to existing support for U.S. light-, medium-, and heavy-duty vehicles and trailers.

What’s new:

1. Assign Service Reminders directly to a contact (driver, technician, or manager) from any reminder action.
2. New dashboard widget highlights upcoming and overdue assignments, with compliance tracking.
3. Service Reminder index now includes Assignee and Assignment Date columns.
4. Assignments show up in contact records and reminder emails.
5. Assigned contacts receive email notifications when a reminder is delegated to them.
6. Assignments are automatically cleared when a reminder is reset.

Assignments make it easy to see who’s responsible for each task, helping teams stay organized, improve follow-through, and keep vehicles maintained on time.

We’ve introduced an Approve All action to streamline Repair Order approvals in Fleetio's Shop Network. 

What's Included: 

1. A new “Approve All” button for repair on an RO is available in Fleetio on service entries. 
2. Approval emails now include a single-click Approve All path.
3. Guardrails are in place to enforce account policies (e.g., confirmation steps if required).

Benefits: 

1. Approvers can bulk-approve all line items instead of approving them individually.
2. Able to approve line items without leaving Fleetio's user interface. 
3. Reduces approval time and eliminates repetitive per-line workflows.
4. Keeps approvers in flow while ensuring compliance with existing policies.

Canadian fleets can now streamline approvals, reduce unnecessary repair costs, and manage maintenance with greater control.

 Key Details for the Canada Shop Network:

1. Payment Methods: Service completed through the Shop Network requires a credit line with Corporate Billing.
2. Registration: A credit application with Corporate Billing is required, including 2+ credit references.
3. Shop Visibility: Only verified Canadian shops will be visible within the Shop Network to users on Fleetio Go. Web users will be able to see verified shops and invite unverified shops within their account. 
4. Currency Handling: No exchange required—CAD end-to-end.
5. Cross-Border Maintenance: Please note that cross-border maintenance within a single account is not currently supported.

You can now jumpstart your Automations setup with ready-to-use templates. Browse from pre-built examples organized by record type, including Issues, Purchase Orders, and Work Orders.

Each template includes triggers, actions, and the ability to tailor conditions. You can apply a template as-is or customize it to fit your exact workflow. For example, select the “Update Issue To Critical When Issue Contains Low Engine Oil Pressure,” and add an extra action that assigns it to your lead technician.

A new Work Order action has been added to Automations, allowing you to automatically create a work order when an issue is created.

Now, you can build automations that instantly:

• Link issues to work orders 
• Assign them to the right team member 

For example, when a critical issue is logged on an asset, a work order record can be created with status “Needs Review” and assigned to a designated technician.
