We've now added notifications and watching so your team can automatically stay informed when these records are created or updated, helping prevent missed updates, communication gaps, and unnecessary downtime.

With notifications and watching for Custom Records, you can:

• Stay on top of important updates: Automatically receive notifications when records you watch are created or updated, including changes to fields, comments, photos, and documents.
• Keep the right people in the loop: Watch or unwatch records, see who else is watching, and automatically follow records you create or are associated with.
• Get notified your way: Choose which updates you receive in your account, by email, or through push notifications in Fleetio Go.

Motor Pool now lets you set up reusable reservation rates and flat fees, so your team can price reservations consistently, reduce manual entry, and simplify billing across your organization.

With this update, you can:

• Set rates by vehicle type and rental duration: Create reusable rate tables with hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, and mileage-based pricing to match your organization's billing structure.
• Add customizable flat fees: Create reusable charges such as cleaning, fuel, or late return fees, and add multiple fees to a reservation as needed.
• Make adjustments when needed: Override individual charges without changing your standard rates, and reset them back to the original rate with one click.

These improvements help teams reduce billing errors and make it easier to manage cost recovery across departments and shared vehicle programs.

Get a clearer picture of maintenance progress without waiting for an entire work order to be finished. Individual line items can now be marked as completed as work gets done, even while the work order remains open.

This update gives your team more control over how work is tracked and completed:

• Track progress as work happens: Mark individual service tasks and repairs as completed without closing the work order.
• See what's done at a glance: View completed line item counts in your work order list and use filters to find work orders based on completion progress.
• Prevent incomplete work orders from being closed: Enable a setting that requires all line items to be marked as completed before closing a work order.
• Keep required work order inspections on track: When inspection submissions are required, associated line items can't be marked complete until the inspection is submitted.

Together, these improvements help teams stay aligned on what's finished, what's outstanding, and when a work order is ready to close.

For example, you can use vehicle details—such as status or assignment—as conditions for a workflow. When those conditions are met, Fleetio can update supported vehicle information, create an Issue for follow-up, or create a Work Order linked to that vehicle. You can also send an email or add a comment as part of the workflow.

We’re updating Fleetio dashboards to make shared dashboard templates more consistent across your organization and to make room for new dashboard views coming soon.

Fleetio-provided dashboards will now be locked so everyone sees the same set of tiles and information. If you want to customize one, simply duplicate the template and make the copy your own by adding, removing, or rearranging tiles.

You’ll keep the same flexibility to build dashboards around your fleet, while Fleetio can provide more consistent, ready-to-use views for common workflows and insights.

Different vehicles often require different inspection forms based on factors such as location, use, and other vehicle attributes. You can now build inspection rules using a broader range of asset attributes and combine them to precisely control which vehicles receive each form. This added flexibility reduces the need to create groups or asset types just for inspections.

As your fleet changes, schedules stay aligned, giving drivers and techs the right inspections while reducing ongoing maintenance for admins.
