Expanded access to mobile service providers through Cox Automotive Mobility Solutions

Finding reliable mobile service at scale can be challenging, especially when managing vehicles across multiple regions. That’s why we’ve expanded our Shop Network partnership with Cox Automotive Mobility Solutions, giving Fleetio customers access to one of the largest mobile service networks in the industry through a single point of contact.

With this expanded partnership, customers can tap into the full Cox Mobility Solutions platform, including the legacy Dickinson network, for a more consistent and efficient mobile maintenance experience nationwide.

What’s included:

  • Broader nationwide coverage – Access more than 1,200 mobile technicians across the U.S.
  • Simplified service coordination – Submit mobile service requests through a single point of contact at 844-663-5338 or sr@coxautoinc.com.
  • Less vendor management – Spend less time coordinating providers and more time getting vehicles back on the road.
  • Improved provider visibility – Find and connect with Cox mobile service providers directly from the Shop Directory.

This expansion strengthens the Shop Network with greater coverage, more service capacity, and easier access to trusted mobile maintenance providers.

Goodyear Is Now in the Fleetio Network

Managing tire spend and service coverage just got easier. Goodyear is now part of the Fleetio Shop Network, giving Fleetio customers access to one of the largest and most trusted service networks in the country.
 
Through this relationship, customers can take advantage of national account pricing, streamlined billing, and expanded access to maintenance and repair services across Goodyear locations and authorized dealers nationwide.

What’s new:

  • Access nationwide tire pricing – Take advantage of national account pricing at Goodyear company-owned locations and authorized dealers across the U.S.
  • Simplify tire service transactions – Repair orders can be processed directly through the Goodyear national account, helping reduce administrative overhead and teams better manage tire-related spend.
  • Handle more maintenance in one place – Beyond tires, Goodyear locations offer preventive maintenance, brake service, and a wide range of repair work through a single service provider.
  • Expand service coverage across your fleet – Give drivers and vehicles access to trusted maintenance and repair locations wherever they operate.

By bringing Goodyear into the Fleetio Shop Network, fleets can gain more flexibility in where they service vehicles with the goal of making one of their largest operating expenses easier to manage.

Manage Shared Vehicle Reservations and Short-Term Rentals using Motor Pool

Managing shared vehicles can get complicated fast. Some vehicles are dedicated to the pool, some are shared only when available, and others need to stay ready for specific work, departments, or emergencies. Fleet teams need a clear way to manage requests, approvals, access, costs, and vehicle readiness without chasing details across disconnected tools.

Motor Pool gives teams a standard way to manage the vehicle reservation process in Fleetio, helping fleets reduce manual coordination, improve visibility into usage and demand, and make better decisions about the vehicles they already have.

Motor Pool helps:

  • Make it easier to request vehicles – Let approved users request shared vehicles through Fleetio Go on mobile or web, with a calendar view to see what’s available, reserved, or checked out.
  • Manage the reservation process in one place – Give coordinators one place to manage requests, approvals, access, and billing instead of chasing details across emails, calendars, forms, or calls.
  • Track usage and demand – Track shared vehicle activity across departments so fleet teams can see where demand is coming from, and where availability, reassignment, replacement, or future vehicles may be needed.

Track Inventory Used During an Inspection

Technicians and drivers can now update parts and consumable inventory used directly within Fleetio's inspection workflow. The new Inventory Adjustment inspection item lets team members record parts used during an inspection, automatically updating inventory counts for the selected location.

This is especially useful for common inspection-related consumables like oil, fluids, filters, and other frequently used parts. Technicians and drivers can select the inventory location, add one or more parts, enter the quantities used, and submit everything during the inspection.

The Inventory Adjustment item is only available for Static and Average Cost inventory valuation methods. FIFO and LIFO inventory valuation are not supported at this time.

Review and approve repair estimates line by line in Fleetio


Maintenance approvals often come down to the details. Instead of reviewing an entire repair estimate as a single decision, Fleetio now gives you the ability to evaluate individual line items and approve or reject work directly within Fleetio.


By bringing line-item approvals into Fleetio, maintenance teams can make faster, more informed decisions without going into Auto Integrate. This helps reduce back-and-forth with repair vendors, keeps approvals moving, and gives fleets greater control over maintenance spend.

This enhancement also lays the groundwork for more flexible maintenance approval workflows in the future, including approval policies, threshold-based approvals, and vendor-specific approval rules.

To help fleets quickly identify trusted partners, we've updated the Shop Directory to make Premier Vendors easier to find and recognize.

A Premier Vendor is a Fleetio preferred partner that has been vetted based on quality, pricing, communication, nationwide coverage, and performance standards. These providers deliver consistent, reliable service and are recognized throughout Fleetio as trusted options for maintenance and repair work.

What's new:

  • Filter for trusted partners – Quickly narrow your search to Premier Vendors using the Partners filter.
  • Browse with greater clarity – Vendor types are now organized into dedicated sections within the filter, making it easier to find the providers you're looking for.
  • Spot Premier Vendors at a glance – A gold checkmark identifies Premier Vendors in both the Shop Directory and shop profile pages.

More towing and roadside coverage, now available through the Shop Network

When a vehicle is down, having options matters. That’s why we’ve expanded Fleetio’s Maintenance Shop Network with the addition of Dispatch, a nationwide provider of towing and roadside assistance services.

Dispatch brings broad coverage across the U.S., giving fleets another trusted option for getting vehicles back on the road quickly, whether it’s a simple roadside fix or a more complex recovery situation.

What’s included:

  • Support beyond basic roadside assistance – Access towing, accident recovery, rollovers, recoveries, winch-outs, and load shift services through Dispatch’s nationwide network.
  • Help for common breakdowns – Get assistance with tire issues, battery and electrical problems, fuel delivery, lockouts, fluid service, and minor mechanical repairs.
  • More service provider choice – An additional nationwide partner means greater flexibility when managing unexpected vehicle downtime.

Dispatch is available as a Mobile Vendor in the Shop Directory, making it easy to find and request service when needed.

New Toll Management Integration with Global Toll Services

Global Toll Services now integrates with Fleetio to automatically capture toll and citation expenses by vehicle for cleaner cost per mile and total cost of ownership reporting. Through its OnePass solution, Global Toll Services helps fleets simplify toll management by registering vehicles for tolling, handling toll activity across a nationwide network, and reducing the manual work, delayed bills, and added fees that often come with toll road usage.

The Global Toll Services integration helps:

  • Keep toll costs tied to the right vehicle: Automatically assign toll and citation expenses to the correct vehicle in Fleetio so operating costs are easier to track, report on, and include in cost per mile and total cost of ownership reporting.
  • Cut down on toll admin and surprise fees: OnePass helps simplify the day-to-day work of toll management by reducing paper bills, manual reconciliation, and the delays that can lead to added toll charges and citation headaches.
  • Keep toll data cleaner across systems: Send current fleet information from Fleetio to support accurate vehicle registration in the OnePass network, making it easier to maintain a more automated and reliable toll management workflow.

This integration is available on plans that offer API access: Pro (Legacy), Advanced (Legacy), Professional, and Premium plans.

AI Service Advisor resolves vehicle issues after service

When a Service Entry is completed, AI Service Advisor can now review the completed work alongside any existing open issues for that vehicle and suggest which ones were likely resolved. Instead of jumping between records and manually reconciling repairs against DVIRs, inspection findings, or driver complaints, teams can review recommendations in a single flow.

What’s new

  1. Resolution Suggestions – Teams can trigger suggestions manually or enable automatic processing whenever a Service Entry is completed.
  2. Automatically resolve high-confidence matches – Fleets that want full automation can allow AI Service Advisor to automatically resolve issues when confidence is high, while still surfacing lower-confidence suggestions for review.

Service completed through Shop Network vendors can now map back to open issues, helping fleets reduce stale or duplicate issues without the manual cross-checking. Each suggested resolution includes supporting rationale and links to the related Service Entry, creating a clearer audit trail and helping teams keep maintenance records accurate at scale. 

AI Service Advisor is currently in Open Beta for a limited time.
