Track Inventory Used During an Inspection
Technicians and drivers can now update parts and consumable inventory used directly within Fleetio's inspection workflow. The new Inventory Adjustment inspection item lets team members record parts used during an inspection, automatically updating inventory counts for the selected location.
This is especially useful for common inspection-related consumables like oil, fluids, filters, and other frequently used parts. Technicians and drivers can select the inventory location, add one or more parts, enter the quantities used, and submit everything during the inspection.
The Inventory Adjustment item is only available for Static and Average Cost inventory valuation methods. FIFO and LIFO inventory valuation are not supported at this time.
